Vaillant Pump 178983 is usually located after the primary heat exchanger within your heating appliance, and allows the heated water to be moved around within the closed heating system.This is also known as ecoTEC Plus Pump 178983. Vaillant ecoTEC Pump is usually situated before the diverter valve to allow circulation through the Domestic Hot Water and central eating system. Vaillant Pump 178983 initially had part number 193534 which has been superseded by current part number 178983, in some manuals it still refers to as ecpTEC Plus Pump 193534. This Vaillant ecoTec Pump is present in different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant ecoTEC PRO (2006-2010), ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2010), ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2010), ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2010), ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2005). Please always refer to Manufacturers instruction, and get a competent person to carry out any repair to you boiler. Always ask to see their Gas Safe Registration Card, which they should have on them. Make sure your Gas Safe Engineer uses Original Boiler Spare Parts, and they should come packed in the manufacturers box and sealed.
